The Dao, the Su, the His-story making

Thus, I have heard,


There are Wing Chun Kuen Do. There are Wing Chun Kuen Su. There are Wing Chun kun His-story making.


So what is WCK-DO or WCK-Dao? That is analogy to the Physics and mathermatics those pure science and philosophy. Which is the fundalmental of all development. deep and broad is the core word in this realm.

WCK-Su is analogy to applied science or Engineering methodology/ technology. specific and effective is the core world in this realm.


WCK-His-story making is about trying to use Myth and story to substitude for the lack of DO or Su.




WCK -Do has the core of the paradigm. WCK-Su has the specific/effective methodology of application. howerver, the su or the technology needs to evolve or even discard time to time due to every application is subject to a time span or era. it is good only until the competitors changes or the life condition changes. and once that happen, one has to go back to the pure science/ fundamental to do research/formulate/ develop another new Su type or technology to expand the WCK-Su.

furthermore, to create a new su type is not just to add and mix. it has to go back to the Do or core to bring up the application from the core. the new Su type might be a totally different concept of implementation. but it alwasy echo the core.

As for WCK-His-story, it is always great for entertaiment, marketing, making movies, propaganda. But, it has not much to do with the Do or the Su.




So, IE AWareness , 6 directional force vectors resultant are the core of the Do, analogy to the basic components of physics or philosophy. Tan Bong Fook, chain punch is the core of some stye of Su, analogy to technology/tools which has been developed from the basic components and ready to be used. Shao Lin, Wudang, Anti-Qing, Rebels.....etc is the core of his-story making.





and, some people love to study the Do, some love a particular su so they can make use of it in fighting, and some love to be a part of the His-story making.

different people different path but all paths are clear on where it leads to because it is a causal system world based on cause and effect.
