no experience with this school at all.
However: There is cred in not having kids classes. This is indicative of serious pursuit in some ways. Also it is indicated he is affiliated with Hsu yun (empty cloud) zen buddhist order, which also has a lot of cred. Not for mma-ers though by the looks of it.  And I mean that in a good way.
