More pain in the lower back area...

Just thinking about that kidney thread of WuWei's reminded me of something I should maybe go to the doctor about. When I get a fear/adrenaline rush I sometimes experience a similar sensation to a running stitch but in my lower back. It is a spasmodic pain and when it occurs I imagine it as adrenaline or something flooding my system.

Any clues or similar experience anybody?

Maybe I'm just a chicken :-) I ate enough of it as an omnivore and now I just eat birdseed...

It sounds to me as if you do a lot of ab/torso work--flys and are a rather trim fellow. But you only do your training off and on. You push to the stage where you could go to a new level but stop without going passed it far. So, you go around tight in the middle upper-back along the shoulderblade-feels like it's on the right side of you. The shooting would come because you are in a state of bad tightness and scared pulls the muscle~. I no_know how the nerves work to say how that might be the pain. But I comprehend at least the muscle thing from what you said.
