I thought I hurt a disk in my back once,it wound up being a kidney stone. Worst pain I ever felt!

I had bulging disks before, but you need to describe what happened to cause the injury, did you hear anything pop, where does it hurt and what are the symptoms. I think actually rupturing the disks would require surgery.

Now, have a friend slam a sledge hammer into your spine.

Feel that pain, yeah, that pain right there in your spine? That's what a blown disk feels like.

I would recommend going to a doctor. Soon.
