OK, this weirded me out

At work the other day I walked over to another cube to talk to a lady that runs a yoga studio. While I was standing there talking to her my palms started to tingle like they do when I'm doing Taiji. I looked at them while I was talking to her and they were bright red. I could also feel my pulse in the wells. When I showed my palms to her, she said she could feel the energy coming off of them and she was sitting about 3 or 4 feet away from where I was standing. She said she could also feel the pulse....started saying 'pulse...pulse...pulse' in time with my heart rate. The whole thing weirded me out, but I don't know which part weired me out the most....the fact that it started spontaneously or the she could detect in from a distance. Anyway, I wanted to get your opinions....anyone else experience that sensation
