How so?
One is arguably the best fighter in the world. And the other has a very accomplished amateur wrestling background and 2 fights vs quality opponents under his belt.

Randy is going to have his hands full with Brock. I don't think Randy has fought someone with Brock's wrestling skills before. It'll be interesting to watch, for sure.

This is always the first arguement people use in a Couture fight, no matter how often he proves them wrong.

In 1 fight he lost in the first 2 minutes to someone who hasn't had a decent fight since the accident. In the other fight it went to decision against an opponent people think is better than he is. Herrings record doesn't show some of the lacklust fights that he has been invloved in. His only real win of note was the one against Kongo.

There's no doubt in my mind that Couture is an amazing fighter and an incredible athlete. But no one can escape age. It's not a question of if, it's a question of when. The only reason I bring up his age is because we haven't seen him fight in quite awhile, we don't know how hard he's been training, if he took a break, or any number of factors. He's been out of the public eye for a little while, so nothing is certain with him.

There is always the age factor. When he steps in against Lesnar it will have been 15 months since his last fight. He was so gung-ho for getting a fight with Fedor, that I have no doubt he hasn't been sitting around eating bon-bons. Evetnually Couture will have to back out due to age, but I haven't seen anything yet to indicate it is any time soon.
