Yes. Yi Jing Jing from Da Mo was considered a form of yoga.

stretching, and strengthening your tendons, ligaments and joints.

I meant these posturing will help your health and wushu/fighting ability.

--

Wuji gives rise/birth to Tai Ji.

---

health benefits from yoga or yi jing jing do not happen overnite.

we have to practice them daily for 7 or 8 years.

or just practice them all the time.

BEIJING, Aug. 10 -- Olympic gold medal fencer Zhong Man, actor Peter Ho, and dozens of exercise enthusiasts attended a Kung Fu training class launched by action movie superstar Jet Lee.

Kung Fu star Jet Li was in Beijing on August.11th to promote his body training class inspired by the Chinese martial art. Olympic champion Zhong Man and actor Peter Ho were invited to join the first batch of students for the class.

Jet Li said, "Some people are very healthy in mind, but not in body. Others may boast a healthy body, but a sick mind. I hope to create a platform that builds the harmony of healthy body and mind with wisdom gleaned from Kung Fu."

Li and his team spent eight months developing the endeavor, entitled "Kung Fu and Tai Chi Body and Mind Training Class."

Jet Li, who achieved huge success both in Kung Fu and action films, has long been an idol for youngsters, as the popularity of his class attests. Some have suggested that he open a Kung Fu training hall, but the superstar has a different vision.

Jet Li said, "A Kung Fu training hall has limited capacity. You can only teach fifty or one-hundred people in one class. Teaching five classes can exhaust you. I want to take advantage of high technology and new media, such as the Internet, to promote the class. Let the simple, but great, Kung Fu ideas spread to the world. This benefits more people by incorporating both physical and mental health."

Jet Li has been active in charity in recent years, rarely appearing on screen, but he will return to theaters soon. For now, though, he's staying tight-lipped about the progress of his new film.
