Grand Opening Hung Sing East Bay Branch

We are pleased to announce to formal opening of the Hung Sing Goon East Bay Branch, here in Oakland, California. The building blessing and eye dotting ceremony will take place on Saturday June 7th, 2008 at 1:00PM. Grandmaster Dino Jew Salvatera will be officiating this celebration. Hung Sing Goon has been in the bay area since the 1930's and the east bay branch is recognized as an authorized extension of headquarter school. If in the area please feel free to stop by and celebrate this joyful day with us.

well sifu troy's grand opening went off with out a hitch. he and his students did some great performances, and the 5 lions did great jobs as well. all in all, it was a great day. thanks troy.

I would like to thank all that came out and celebrated with us, and I would like to express a special thank you to my Sifu Dino, because without him none of this would have been possible (Hung Sing For Life), Adeline Louie for her most valued assistance, Sifu Frank McCarthy who's assistance was much appreciated (my house is your house, you are always welcomed), the Hung Sing Lion Dance Troupe under the direction of Sifu Jay (you guys made it all happen, thank you), and of course Sifu Bryant Yu and the Teng Fei Lion Dance Club, you guys rock, and we should do more in the future, Sifu Bucky Wing of S.F. Jing Mo, thanks for being there, Sifu Yan Hai Wu and Rising Dragon Director Vivian Yu, thanks for your friendship through the years also a special thank you to Mr. Peter Leung who represented the Mayor of Oakland Mr. Ron Dellums, his being there alone made it a great day. It is because of all of you our event was successful.

The funny thing about the permit was it was approved on Friday, had me nervous for a minute. Ray waited until I got back, that was very cool of him. Your drumming was fine.
