TWC master from Serbia Sifu Mikic Dejan playing special version of Sil Lim Tao, with breathing and muscule contration wich can be found only in this form . This form is not ,and newer was a part of William Cheung's system , and is brought to Serbia by master Bozidar Gabersek from Australia, one of the first students of William Cheung . Gabersek create this form with help of several Qi-Gong masters from China and Australia

I think you missed my point, I meant all WC is REAL to someone, thus none are fake :D

I agree. It gives the strong message that any Wing Chun methods that are different from those of the person saying this....are NOT the "real" thing and therefore substandard or somehow "false".

I agree. I never say someone's WC is substandard but I will say that form was different from the way we do it.

Well, saying that a WC system ( or any system) is tradional, modified or modern is one thing, saying it is REAL tends to state that all the rest are NOT REAL.
Big difference.

I just repeated what he said to me personally and agreed with his statement also… “Modified” (not authentic/false), “traditional” (authentic/real), then again you might be right… :D

Humm, maybe that’s why he posted it that way in the title of the clip, because they’re always taught from the beginning of their studies that their system is “traditional” and others are “modified” in which might have prompted the word “real”…

I was refering to the wide movements and the stomping on the ground like in the video. You should never stomp on the ground in any lineage of Wing Chun. You should always place your feet on the ground with control so that you can interrupt if you need to. Bak Mei, Lung Ying, and some other styles stomp but not WC.

Like i said , the form was teached by William Cheung , maybe it is wrong now , but 30 years ago was correct

I only watched some of the Sil Lim, and yes, it is somewhat different. I don't see that it is wrong though. Still looked WC to me. I don't think that you will ever see authentic today. Authentic has disappeared into history. What we see now is everyone's personal representation. When all these Chinese guys came over here to the US with Wing Chun, there were still 10,000 more Chinese still in China that did a form of Wing Chun. So who knows what is authentic? If it was taught in the Chinese army, do you realize how many people have served in their army up to then?
