I am constantly training my body, and just started taking Kung Fu. I feel very comfortable in training my muscle build through natural means - punching, sidekicks, conditioning forearms and such. But what I have been finding trouble in was the Hamstring muscles and the sides of the leg ( please bear with my ignorance on the muscle names ). ALthough I can snap kick well, I still want to build my muscle there so, well, I can be faster. Can anyone tell me any good ways to naturally build hamstring muscles? Also, I am constantly conditioning my legs through knee bends, raising the legs to the side and such, but I am having trouble keeping the sides of my legs in shape for various reasons, like I don't usually feel a burn there unless I am doing a knee bend. Anyways, I am wondering if there are any exercises out there that can build strength and toughness of muscle there more efficiently.
