Mickeys (www.mickeys.com) is the official beer of UFC? Mickeys Throwdowns? You got to be kidding me. Mickeys?!?
As a publisher, I must point this out: to understand the true nature of any media, look to the advertisers.

I've lost respect for most pro mma fighters due to the out of controll use of banned substances.
I still like to watch though.

What's wrong with Mickey's?
It's a whole lot better than Budwiser.

Uh Gene, before you start slamming on other sponsors, it would be wise to remember that your own sponsor is a guy with bricks hanging from his wanger.

No response, only the need to see this in quotations. Also, in someone's signature.

Gene strikes me as a PBR kind of guy. It's quantity, not quality, that counts.

Beer donations are always accepted. Mag publishing isn't *that* lucrative. I do it for the perks and tips. ;)
Honestly, I'm not familiar with Tasgall. Do they sponsor anything? Please to educate me.
http://www.highlandbrewing.com/
click on beer styles to see their line up. Tasgall technically a Wee Heavy. It has, imo, the best combination of malt and hops ever. Slightly sweet but with just enough bitterness so it finishes clean. It's also high grav so a couple of the 22's will do you right for the night.
seriously, pm me with a snail mail and I'll drop you one in the mail...technically illegal I think but GDA got his fine.
oh, and the owner trained w/ Brendan Lai back in the day when Lai Shifu was teaching out of his garage!
I talked with him at the last Brewfest here in AVL and he said he trained for about a year and a half while in college and hadn't trained since.

...but anyone can reach mail stuff to me at the office here.
Interesting about the Lai connection. We are everywhere.
enh, I'd be the one in trouble for mailing it.
either that or you come visit this way the next time you come to knoxville...I'll buy.
yea, I was hoping to have found someone still interested...but, he's like 60 now and full on with the brewery. I told him if I ever got big enough to hold some big function I'd get him involved. He did say he was surprised and glad to hear someone was teaching traditional mantis in the area.
