This is the 2003 FBI Concealed Weapon list collection. There are three things someone can get from this list. One it showcases on a broad but not complete scale how offensive tools can be very deceptive for street encounters. Two it may give you or spark some ideas of a tool to carry yourself in regards to personal defense, I found a couple of items I own on the list, some are popular and others are more exotic. Three it showcases on a small scale what they are looking at from the perspective of 9/11 and airport carry-on security, in specifc polycarbonate weapons.

Enjoy, its a interseting list from a couple of perspectives. To start fresh, just scroll to the top and work down.

I have a pair of knucks, that instead of brass are made of bullet proof glass. a buddy of mine has a push knife (the knives that fold like a "T" and protrude through the knuckes) that is made of wood. I have one as well, but mine is steel.

Push knifes can be a excellent tool for those with a western boxing or muay thai style background. Nothing extra to learn, tools are already there.;)

I used to be knife overfocused a couple of years ago, it was a romantic fma influence to a large degree, I still own a varity just for collecting but now for standard carry I just go with a single tactical folder in my front pocket or my fixed bladed karambit in a belt clip, and my favorite impact tool of all, which is a easy guess, its my post name.

Dunno about you guys, but I view this document as "What to buy next catalog" :D

TX is great nearly half of that stuff is legal here.

9/11 was simply an excuse for the government to enforce bans on all sorts of ****. The terrorists used box cutters as simply a psychological tool. Box cutters are not going to f-you up like a knife or scissors. The majority of the victims were older and were probably freaked out of their minds, with the exception of flight 93 (I think that was the one in Penn. right??) where some of the younger men said screw this we are going to try and take these idiots out.

No, I lot of this stuff was illegal to carry anyway depending on the state and for planes I am sure as well. It's just a catalog for the FBI Lab as a informational tool.
