NICE!
anyone got any background on him?
It says Wutang but I don't know who he is. Thought someone might know.
i hope so. he moves very well and is obviously able to teach as his students move very nicely as well. good find.
of course, all them skinny dudes move well...I wish there was some footage of the great Fan for me to emulate...trying to move like Kevin and John is very, very hard :(

His methdology follows mine. if you notice he is not doing forms only, in fact he is doing mantis drills out of the forms. The moves are all common and used in evey style of mantis. however his twist is decidedly his own as far as flavor and emphasis is concerned. My guess by watching his student interaction is that he is somehow connected to the Mantis king grandmaster Su. However i could be wrong.
I see mei hua in his flavor but i also see mimen. anyway his legwork is alot like our masters in that he loves to employ earth shattering leg damage as a result of seven star footwork. he also seems to incorporate the footwork well into his upper body attack (a thing i find of the most important esp. for fighters be it street or ring.
I agree with his use of drills, Drill the piece outside its form and go through the apllications as real as possible then your form takes up a whole new meaning.
on a more critical note he is only mid range in his speed (he might not be showing combat speed) but even if he is his body apllications more than make up for any lack of speed
