Here's another reason why we don't have a contemporary wushu forum (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42889): our last issue (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=680) took the wushu bull by the horns with two articles: the cover story (Where Wushu Went Wrong: Wushu's Leading Champion, Zhao Changjun, Extols Traditional (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=679)) and a feature article (Wushu's New Difficulties: American Wushu Pioneer Master Bryant Fong Speaks Out (http://www.sfwushu.net/essays/difficulties.html)) and we barely got a peep out of our forum here. But look at Jiayo - they have two discussion threads going on it - where wushu went wrong article (http://www.jiayo.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4038&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0) & the average beer drinker and wushu (http://www.jiayo.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3587&start=0). We didn't even get a decent review thread until this one I'm posting now. See? You guys don't deserve a wushu forum. :(
