Very cool, thanks for posting it. I was just thinking the other day that it's a shame I don't see much Ng Family CLF in videos online.

There were 2. The one that the bald guy(me) was doing was Ng Long Bat Gwa gwun. The other was hung jei pang.

The reason I asked is we do a similar sequence near the end our version of hang jeh pang that you do in the that you do in ng long bat gwa gwun, in our schools ng long bat gwa gwun we use a 7 foot long tapered pole.
The small sequence of the hang jeh pang in your clip we do in the first half of the form in four directions, ie SE NE SW & SE.

P.S. my son thinks the Naruto music theme is cool & my sifu has asked me to put some more of video of his school up so after Xmas you get to see some CLF forms you might recognise from our lineage.

So do we. It's just that particular sequence I did was from the Ng Long Bat Gwa Gwun form. We also have a similar sequence in the moi fah spear.

I use a longer staff at home but sifu says the staff for that form should be roughly the same height as the practitioner. I've noticed most schools that practice this form use a really long staff. Makes since since originally it was devised from spear fighting. or so the story goes......

Mano mano, did anything in the lohan form look familiar? It's lama pai

Yes. He's done allot acting and behind the scenes wise since he got there. Some of his flicks are House of fury, Dragon squad and undercover hidden dragon. He's got a tv series comming out soon in which he plays yip mans sifu. He visited last month for about 2 weeks and we filmed that demo reel.

That is a very cool demo video. I know that if I was a young kid looking into martial arts and living in the Chicago area, I would definately go check the Ng school out!
