This was the WORST Interview of a Foreign Leader EVER. Wallace showed himself to be a biased and pompous A$$, with no journalistic integrity whatsoever. It seemed as though by posing stupid questions and attacking the president of Iran that wallace was NOT being a JOURNALIST but rather a spokesman for the right wing agenda.

I missed the interview, but have read transcripts. Most commentators I've heard say it was either Wallace kissing his behind and/or being played like a puppet. I read that Ahmadinejad even worked in criticizing the Bush admin. with democratic talking points, "I am very saddened to hear that 1 percent of the total population is in prisons, and 45 million people don't have a healthcare coverage...you see that his approval rating is dropping every day..."
And you have to love the way Wallace decided to phrase this question,"What do you think of George Bush as a man and as commander- in-chief of the so-called free world." It DID appear to me that Wallace tried to ask some good questions, but Ahmadinejad kept to HIS preferred talking points, in the main.

Wallace and his team were asked to wait in Iran for almost a week. It's pretty sick when you think it could have coincided with the plot to blow up 12 airliners on their way to the US. Really would have increased the impact of the interview, huh?

rad you can see the interview on the website i believe. Nah wallace was being a sh!thead. He WASNT being a journalist. he was being belligerant and asking stupid questions and trying to intimidate the iranian president rather than allowing the iranian president to actually TALK. The general consensus was that the interview went terrible and it was NOT the fault of Ahmadinejad. Wallace just needs to be put out to pasture.
i mean i actually wanted to LISTEN to what the iranian president wanted to say but he constantly had to defend against wallance and his bitter old f@rt ramblings.

The way wallace was being towards Ahmadinejad was just PROVING Ahmadinejad's Point about americans.

What ******* planet do you live on that Wallace is "a spokesman for the right wing "?! How many drugs did you have to take before writing that?

How many drugs did you have to take before writing that?

A lot, would be my guess. Unkokusai: basically, unless you agree that the United States is the root of all that is wrong with the world, TWS accuses you of being part of the "right wing" and supporting its agenda.

I don't know why the Michael Moore left feels this is the only legitimate way to be a liberal. Disgusting.

Wallace got played like a fiddle. Ahmadinejad is a lot of things - stupid is not one of them. He is a gifted - strike that - masterful politician.
