Daoist Medical Qigong: Theory, Practice, and Application in Healing

Learn exercises to improve personal health -
Prevent illness, help to achieve and maintain wellness
Absorb Universal Energy from heaven and earth
Store qi in the major energy storage centers (3 dantians) in the Chinese tradition
Absorb qi to benefit the internal organs
Remove blockages and promote movement of qi through the body's meridians, especially the Ren and Du Mai
Improve oneself as a healer -
Use qigong with acupuncture, massage, & other modalities
Strengthening one's qi to maintain health while treating others
Exchange energy with another person
The basics of applying qi directly in treatment (Medical qigong therapy)
Special methods of protecting oneself against “sick qi”
$240 for the full weekend as a whole (CEUs)
$60 for each 1/2 day workshop
Register by June 30 for a $5 discount/workshop or $20 discount for the weekend.

About Master Zhang Yuanming
Born into a traditional martial arts family in Sichuan province, China, Grandmaster Zhang Yuanming is the inheritor of several ancient qigong lineages. Among his ancestors were Zhang San Feng, the founder of Daoist Taiji and Zhang Dao Ling, founder of religious Daoism. He began to practice various forms of Qigong at the age of three, and went on to study with 24 different masters and hermits, developing a broad, inclusive background in the traditional arts of Chinese Medicine, Acupressure Massage, Medical Qigong, Daoism, Tibetan Buddhism, and Internal Alchemy. Among his teachers are Lu Zijian, Yin Yi, Li Ziming, Zhong Fanghan, and Zhang Wenguang.
Master Zhang has earned international recognition for his expertise in a variety of Kung Fu systems. He is the 18th generation successor of Mt. Wudan Longmen Pai, 8th generation lineage holder of Mt. Emei Qigong, 4th generation of Bagua Boxing, and 6th generation successor of Hebei Xingyi boxing.
Master Zhang is also the Dean Emeritus of the Guanming Medical University's Qigong and Acupuncture Department as well as a consultant to the United Nations. He has published articles in Kung Fu Magazine and Qi Journal and has produced over 25 instructional videos in Medical Qigong and Kung Fu.
