Well blackmantis, I honestly have no idea what you're talking about- but I've never let that stop me from opining before :D So without further ado, some info, courtesy of http://www.googlism.com/

On Double Dragon-
double dragon is dedicated to publishing quality works of fiction and non
double dragon is playing a role in the current musical histories of both of these countries and the world
double dragon is a group of ninjas that fight the shadowmaster and keep him
double dragon is known the world over; it is one of the few international establishments that advertises in the new york magazine clue
double dragon is no stranger after his hugely popular debut album on phantasm records and the people behind bushbumpas probably need no further presentation
double dragon is delicious and ready in 15 to 20 min
double dragon is a great nes game that is a lot of fun to play especially with 2 players
double dragon is certainly one of the greatest arcade games of all
double dragon is not a terrible game
double dragon is a surrender into hate and pessimism
double dragon is a failure

I used only the most comprehensive looking quotes. Looks like quite a bang-up organization, you should definitely check it out.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll get back to training in Streets-of-Rage-do from the River City Ransom correspondence school of Martial Arts and VCR repair. I'm preparing for my Final Fight.

Might help as you know more about what you're looking for than me.

Either way, it seems like an excellent resource IMO.

www.karatekorner.com/messageboard/ (maybe here?)

This thread is making me wonder why there is not a database specifically designed for such a search. Or is there and I don't know about it?

Honest answers, please.

Why is it so amazing and why does it sicken you? Do you think that this Double Dragon Institute should be known by all? A little egoscentric don't you think?

Do you know about my school called International Kung Fu Academy in Lexington Kentucky

Was it listed on your unsolicited 'resume' that went over like a lead balloon?

This if from www.wikipedia.org

Gerard Houghton likes big butts and he can not lie
His other hing dai can't deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
He get sprung son

There, are your questions now answered?

I have climbed highest mountains
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you
Only to be with you
I have run
I have crawled
I have scaled these city walls
These city walls
Only to be with you

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

I have kissed honey lips
Felt the healing fingertips
It burned like a fire
This burning desire

I have spoke with the tongues of angels
I have held the hand of a devil
It was warm in the night
I was cold as a stone

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

I believe in the Kingdom Come
When all the colors will bleed into one
Bleed into one
Well, yes I'm still running

You broke the bonds
And you loosened the chains
Carried the cross
Of all my shame
all my shame
You know I believe it

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

I`m not familiar with Gerard Houghton, but I have heard of the Double Dragon Martial Arts Institute in Kyoto. I searched for any current info when I moved to Japan, but didn`t find anything. I do know that when I first heard of it in the 80`s it was still being run by it`s founder, a Chinese named Long Ching-Gang. (Don`t know the characters, sorry). He was teaching Chen style Tai Chi and some type of Pa Kua Chang (I don`t know the sub-style). Friends in Japan said he was Known for his iron palm and could do short power (ie "1 inch punch") very well.

If you do find anything out, PM me. I`m several hours north of there in Hokkaido, but I wouldn`t be above looking the place up if I knew where to go.
