Seeing as it's useless to post a scenario and ask how people would deal with the situation, I've decided to turn the tables and ask the following:
Develop a Gunpoint scenario that demonstrates the use of Peng, Liu, Ji, An, or any combination of those four concepts.
I'll start:
My Peng Scenario would probably revolve around someone who was just drawing their gun from its "holster." A nice sharp connection to the outside of their wrist is what I'd attempt, I think.
Go ahead, make something up. :)

hmmm hard scenario, personally I'd use 'grabbing hands', but as I’m imitated to Pung, Liu, Ji, An, I would use Liu to the point where the main body of the gun meets the hand, the resistance and tension in the guys hand should make it easy to liu and then use 'shank' power with the shoulder on the upper arm to disarm him, or with a frantic combination of Liu and An you could prey you deflect the bullets with your hands....

cjurakpt... I see you had a little difficulty seeing the funny side of my statement 'with a frantic combination of Liu and An you could prey you deflect the bullets with your hands....'Yes it was obviously a joke...
Secondly, grabbing hands is the name of an exercise we practice in Wu Taiji, and if you had not gone so far out of your way to pick apart my post and thought about yours for a second you would have probably realized the Irony of your statement 'right, as opposed to the "all oiled up and slippery, can't hold on to anything hands" technique - probably not the way to go....'
I'll give you a clue it relates to the first level of Wu style Taiji...
Also this topic I got the impression was an entirely hypothetical and so what far fetched scenario where you can use only combinations of the first four movements of pushing hands, so to raise the feasibility of my counter Scenario was a waste of time.
Training in martial arts has nothing to do with weather you a 'Baddie' or not it is a simple fact that people don’t hold had guns lightly, the fact that he's pointing a gun at you would mean he’s tense, which is why Liu would work as a receive, and yes I have removed objects such as knives from people who have no desire to relinquish them and I don't use horrific amounts of force to do it, all it requires is timing practice a good teacher and inducing a release becomes easier than you imagine.
Oh and just in case you misted it I will reiterate, this was a fantasy scenario, I could have said... anything and it wouldn't have mattered because it was just that a mock up scenario, a distraction from the drudgery of everyday life, so why take it so seriously either contribute of shut the hell up!

Fair enough... Though I should point out that my closing statement was a consequence of laziness rather than a lack of class.... I mean how many of you out their can say you have genuine imitation Bruce Lee jockstrap... bought on 'Ebay' of course. (How classy am I?)
