It's always interesting to me to see how different chi sao looks under different wing chun families, and even under individuals within same family. Yet the results always still look the same, wing chun.

In seeing how different they are just seems to confirm for me even more that wing chun cannot be viewed or judged solely by how it looks, but rather, by it's concepts or theories, which I dare to say is what all the families still share in common to some great degree since the physical application of those principles will differ from teacher to student as we can all visibly see, in any family. I think these differences occur for the most part as a result of a teachers attempt to improve on the teaching methods passed on to them so their students will get the concepts much quicker and more efficiently.

And lets say for arguement sake if this is truly the case, and what really sets all wing chun families apart, then no one can actually say they have the traditional or classical art then. If anything, the questions and arguments that I read hear on these boards about who has the real wing chun would probably need to change to a more plausible or acurate question, who has a better, more efficient teaching method? In consideration or respects to the modern man who these days realisticaly don't have 8 hours to train as the traditional practicioner was able to, with some exceptions of coarse.
