Greetings,

I managed to get my hands on this book and it makes me wonder when the gymnastic component entered the Eagle Claw System. This looks like the true heart of the system.

ngokfei, could you help me with this?

hey mickey, great book

its actually a reprint of his late 80's book which only had line drawings.

Yep straight eagle claw. He's picked apart the system to come up with a good overall view of the specific eagle claw ideas, etc.

this wasn't meant as a review

just a heads up on a new eagle claw book (hard to find)

for a review:

Gao's book is very informative. He details the major actions of the style: footwork, grabbing and hitting as well as some locking skills.

for historical researchers it has the only known photo of Lau shing yuo (chan tzi ching's teacher)
