Richard Acosta (NYKK, New York)
vs.
Kevin Ruelas (USH Team, San Jose)
King of San Da WORLD TITLE
Richard Acosta is stepping up in weight, after being one of the most dominant 154 lb athletes US San Da has ever seen. At his original weight Acosta has racked up impressive wins including the 2001 ICMAC championship, the 5th US Open championship and a silver medal at the 2002 USWU national championships. Acosta's last win was at the 2003 ABOC Super Fights, where he beat arch-rival Max Chen. Kevin Ruelas, a member of Cung Le's prestigious Ush Team, is the West Coast's #1 San Da fighter at 165 lbs and is known for his aggressive and explosive style. He's known to be a first class wrestler but don't let that fool you. He's also got power in both his hands and his kicks!

Jenna Castillo (USH Team, San Jose)
vs.
Emily Bearden (5 Points Muay Thai, New York)
King of San Da WORLD TITLE
The most dominant female San Da athlete the US has ever produced, Jenna Castillo has returned from fighting international teams in Macau, China and in July captured yet another IKF title. Emily Bearden brings with her the WKA US Muay Thai title, a reputation as one of the country's top Muay Thai fighters and an impressive record of 10 wins. King of San Da USA feels that this title match will be everything the fans can hope for and MORE!

Jose Palacios (USH Team, San Jose)
vs.
Ian Morgan (NYKK Gym, New York)
King of San Da WORLD TITLE
Jose Palacios recently finished off a Muay Thai champion in under a minute with his high altitude throws. Ian Morgan is the rising star of 147 lbs with impressive wins over some of the big names in the sport. They're calling this the "dream war" as two of the foremost athletes once again demonstrate that San Da is a sport where the best aren't afraid to face each other for bragging rights. One thing is for certain, this is going to be non-stop action for all five rounds!

Rahsaan Kimbrow (Baltimore San Shou)
vs.
Duncan Duffin (Michigan San Shou)
Rahsaan Kimbrow was born and raised in Baltimore, MD and is a member of Julio Trujillo's Baltimore San Shou Team. Last year, at the King of San Da North American Championships, Rahsaan showed he has with it takes to be a top athlete in this sport. Duncan Duffin started training in Jow Ga and Wing Chun under Sam (Hing Fi) Chan in 1992. He has also studied Judo under Hing Kong Chan. However, a transforming moment in his life was when he attended the USA WKF nationals in Baltimore and watched San Da for the first time. Duncan has gained valuable experience since that time, even fighting in China in 2003. This is a re-match and both fighters expect it to be non-stop action. Rahsaan compliments Duncan, "He is a tough dude. He made me dig deep and forced me to fight at a high level". Duncan credits both Rahsaan and his coach Julio Trujillo for making him a better fighter. What will be the result? Again, Rahsaan had insightful comments, "It should make for a great show. The rest of the card is going to have a tough act to follow".

Max Chen (William CC Chen's Tai Chi, NY)
vs.
Richie Council (Iron Tigers, Ohio)
Max Chen, one the US's most experienced and decorated San Da athletes, has won 18 gold medals and 4 silver medals in San Shou since 1995. Max has also been a member of the US National San Shou team in 2001 and 2003. In September, Max takes on the challenge of experienced and tough Richie Council of Ohio. Richie recently won his super fight at the "Born to Fight" event and is looking for another upset win. Will Richie succeed in shocking the "experts" or will Max Chen once again demonstrate why he's been collecting wins for almost 10 years now!
