does anyone own the Shi Goulin video "fundamentals of Shaolin kung fu"?
How is it? Is it basics or history and that stuff? Is it worth picking up (no sales pitch here Gene,please!)

it's mostly basics. no history really. just basic kicks, punches, warm ups, etc., then a lot of demo samples. here's the link (http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/pr-gs006.html), just for reference (not a sales pitch ;)).

Actually, if you're interested in Shaolin fundamentals, you should check out Xiaohong (Shao hong) (http://store.yahoo.com/martialartsmart/pr-gs002.html). This is one of the basic forms and this video takes you from start to finish. But don't think of this as a sales pitch. It's just a suggestion. ;)
