I'm familiar with Shaolin styles, internal, some North, some South, but I know nothing of Longfist. Where it originated from, what styles fall under this category etc.
Also, there are other style out there, I'm wondering do they have a category they fall into?
Such as:
Baji Quan
Mantis
Choy Lee Fut

Long Fist I believe is Northern style. Mantis is mostly Northern, though there is Southern Mantis that looks next to nothing like Northern Mantis. Choy Lay Fut is mostly considered a Southern martial art though. It is composed of 3 styles of Kung Fu (according to the story). One Northern system and a Southern system or 2 I think. Its known as "Northern Kicks, Southern Hands" or something like that. I think its 2 styles of the South and 1 of the North hence why it is considered a Southern system.
