Has anybody trained with him? Any comments?

Do any of your Shaolin systems contain Two-Finger Chan?

Thanks in advance.

I was thinking of training with Tao, but then he went under contract with Cung Le, so his offer to teach me changed where it became too inconvenient. All good things in all good time...
He is one of the most impressive kungfu fighters I have had the opportunity to work with so far. His breaking skill, fighting strategies, and even his forms are intense. Last I heard he returned to China. He was supposed to appear at Lily Lau's Eagle Cup in SF in the beginning of Aug., but didn't show. You should chekc out his vidoe series - we have the exclusive English rights - available through www.MartialArtsMart.com (http://www.MartialArtsMart.com), just search Jing Quan Dao.

Are there forms on his tapes or is it more like a PLA "military san shou" type of training?

Is Two-Finger Chan a Shaolin qigong, or is it an original creation of Tao's?

There is a two finger system in place at Shaolin. I've never heard "Two Finger Chan" though, I've always heard "Two Finger Dhayana." There's a person I've seen somewhere who's the transmission disciple of Two Finger Dhayana. ... perhaps on Shi Guolin's tapes...

Did Cung Le train with Tao?

Thanks in advance. When my financial aid FINALLY clears, I will be looking into buying some CMA tapes.

s: Tao only shows techniques on his videos - no forms. Cung did train with Tao, in fact he had his whole crew do some of the iron body training, but it was too esoteric for them, so it didn't continue.

cc: Chan is an abbreviation for Channa, the phonetic translation of Dhyana into Mandarin (albeit not a very good translation.) I don't beleive there are any two-finger chan demos on Guolin's tapes, but there are some on the Hai Deng video (search Jet Li) and the Extreme Kungfu Qigong video, available at www.MartialArtsMart.com.
