Anyone know of any groups in the San Diego area that get together to work out? I will be in the area shortly and would love to visit some of the local groups/schools. How is the martial arts world in the San Diego, by the way.... can anyone shed a light?

NTC- among others--I believe Rene Ng whose sifu apparently was also Ho Kam Ming is in San Diego.

I remember Sifu Ho mentioning that we had someone from the school who lived there. I will contact Sifu and see how to get in touch with him. Anyone else know Rene Ng, his whereabouts, or other information about him?

Rene Ng is the Sifu for the San Diego Wing Chun Kung Fu Club.
He also teaches out of the Jing Institute on Miramar Rd. If you do a search on google for San Diego Wing Chun or Jing Institute you should find contact info.

Just looked up the Jing website on the Web and got his pic.... I know who he is..... definitely from our Macau school.... I will contact him. Glad to know he is there... he is a good guy. Thanks for the help.

I think there is a group that practices in one of the universities over there from one of the threads I read. Also, I think a new thread started today talking about some get-together in San Diego in the next few weeks.
