We are currently looking for an artist specialized in martial arts for a new
production.
Requirements:
Gender: N/A
Age: N/A
Criteria:
Mastery of one
of the following disciplines: Wu Shu, Kung Fu, Aikido or other;
Mastery of
the use of weapons such as the sabre, nunchakus, katana or other;
Strong
stage presence;
Sense of movement and acting or experience in dance, an
asset;
Very good flexibility;
Great upper body strength;
Must be in
excellent physical shape;
Experience in trampoline, an asset;
Ability to
work in the air; the artist must not suffer from vertigo;
Artistic
open-mindedness and open to working in a group.
Conditions:
Length of
contract: Two years.
Show:
This fantastic epic will shatter space
perception and defy the laws of gravity,
with a story based on duality,
personified by twins who will illustrate the
battle that life forces us to
wage against ourselves.
This new show is based on movement and performance,
and will feature acrobatic
dance, martial arts, puppets, music, singing and
Cirque du Soleil’s acrobatic
savoir-faire. It will be directed by the
renowned Robert Lepage. Guy Caron, who
gave us Dralion, will be the new
production’s Director of Creation.
