I haven't posted in about 4 months and even then wasn't really active on the net. My question is, what ever happened with the Shaolin Ulyssis program that was supposed to air a while back? If it has already come to pass, can it be purchased on the net ? Any help conluding my questions is very much appreciated.

That is a question that I also have. Has anyone else noticed that the second part to the application of techniques from Dahong Quan and Xiaohong Quan has yet to materialize in Kung Fu Qigong? The 1st part was in the Jan/Feb 2002 issue. The SAME issue that discusses Shaolin Ulysses! Hmmm...perhaps some sort of conspiracy?:)

The second part of my Xiaohong/Dahong article appeared in the following issue Mar Apr 2002 (http://www.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=146) .

As for Shaolin Ulysses, that was actually a project by our former freelance editor Martha Burr. It was delayed by 9/11 (in fact some of the crew were trapped in Asia right when it happened.) The documentary was completed and showed at an LA film festival. It is supposed to air sometime this spring on PBS.

Personally, I was very disappointed in the project. Some of my friends, Monk Xinghong, ex-monk Zhang Lipeng and my disciple brother Rich Russell (russbo) were misrepresented in a negative light. Also there was a plug for Hooters (!!!) but just a quick credit for KFQG after KFQG invested our resources into the project.

I will be eager to hear your reactions to the project when it is finally televised.
