They are releasing these ab0ut a d0zen a m0nth. 0f the 0nes I have, I w0uld m0st highly rec0mmend "Kidnap" a very gritty film n0ir that I liked al0t. very t0ugh atm0sphere and crime fr0m the criminals perspective, and "the three smiles" a traditi0nal Huangmei 0pera, n0t as exciting but very c00l if y0u're int0 Chinese culture. Pers0nally I'd skip "c0me drink with me" "Empress D0wager" and stuff like that. They are classics, but they haven't aged well in my 0pini0n. Some amazing titles on the horizon....

Also, I get mine for 8 bucks apiece in Chinatown, but they appear to be going for a little more online. I've only seen one on dvd (clans of Intrigue)

I'd heard bad things about vcd's but they look fine to me. The difference is like 16 as opposed to 32 bit on a computer. I just got one called "Journey to the West" which is a sort of Wizard of Oz thing with a pig man and a monkey guy. Pretty weird/ cool.
