Any good source for a good practice miao do. Got one from the BLT store in NY but it just snapped at the hilt.

Have combined one of the long japanese Katanna's with the remnanats of the one that broke. Holding up pretty well.

Saw one advertised in an Italian Magazine but was wondering if Martial Arts Mart or Beijing Imports has one.

I can send you a Miao Dao from China as I have contacts in LiShui and Longquan and will be exporting equipment formally late this year. But I can order any time of course.

Prices range from $150 (normal training usage) to $1000(Hand crafted....I stand by the quality).

So do you practise piguaquan as well ? I personally love Miao Dao and Shuang shou Jian.

cheers,

Could you also have access to double hand swords as you mentionned? I mean, sell them??
A good friend of mine desperately wants one. I do not know if my bagua sifu is going back to China this year, else he would have brought one back...
Just curious...

Of course : Does he know the type (there are a few).

I can also have swords made to specifications. As an example I have ordered a few for myself according to our family manuals. So if there are specific requirements they can be made to order (ofcourse it takes around 2-3 months for such custom work and a little expensive in comparison to standard issues but for enthusiasts worried about specifics it is well worth it.

When in Lishui districts, I spent some time with the Shezu minorities learning their martial art and was introduced to many swordmakers in Longquan.

At the moment I am busy with other things (trying to finish the Zimenquan & YueJiaquan, and work here in Jiangxi) and am not planning full on commercial mode (that and other things) until later.

But let me know (email!) what you need.

Thank you very much for your time.
I will ask him what exactly he's looking for, I guess his budget would fit between 150 and 300$/euros.
Don't worry too much about it, I was just asking out of curiosity since he seems quite eager to get a decent practice sword (what we can find here is...eewwww :( ) . I will speak with him and do all I can so that you won't lose precious time :) .
Thanks anyway for your answer and disponibility, I will check back as soon as possible!
