Read an article on Avacor and other Hair loss prevention/regrowth stuff. Summary of the article: Beware...nothing really works all the time. Rogaine claims33% success (but if you stop taking it, loss occurs again) and Propecia 67% but has been side effects that affect your 'ahem' performance in other areas. The avacor claims 90% success rate. If you actually get the study, it may indicate that more people have bought Avacor rather than hair growth. Keep in mind there is also a placebo effect (Rogaine had a control group with the placebo. They had 16% measurable hair growth). The test/study is not double-blind test and there is no mention of the control group. The working ingrediant in the product is minoxidil. Long of the short, it is a load of _____ and has no test information to back it up. There are a lot of shady people associated with the product.

In summary, save yourself money, don't buy it. Talk to real doctors or if your a lucky 16%, think positive.

Peace. If anyone works for Avacor...sorry.

I saw hair replacement surgery on TLC and it is pretty freak-out. I say shave it off. Thanks for the tip about the meds.

Even if I was going bald I would never shave my head. You know why? Its very simple, I'm WHITE. Everytime somebody see's a bald white guy they either think skin head or leukemia patient. *joking*

I see plenty of shaved-head white guys in business suits or semi-hippie attire where I live. These days it's pretty mainstream.

I'm pretty thin up top, but I get by with just a #2 razor cut all over.

It hasn't my professional or personal life at all. Anyone who spends big bucks on treatments, transplants or rugs is a loser IMO. Similarly anyone who employs the "comb-over".

Baldness happens to some people. Just deal with it, worse things can and do happen to people every day.
