Thanks for info, links and history lesson in my initial thread - much appreciated :)

To the sifu's on the forum, do you cover the Kuen Kuits in your syllabus - Do you reinforce concepts/points etc using Kuen Kuits.

I am interested to know whether they are now just a historical nicety or whether they are still used for there original purpose of passing on the essense of Wing Chun to future generations.

To the students on the forum, does your sifu use them ?? Do they help ??

The latter in my case. Not by memorization but by showing and explaining from time to time.... so that ideas, intuition and
applications are sharpened.

They are both historically important and the conceptual core of the art.

IMO Wing Chun which does not follw the principles of the kuen kuit is not Wing Chun. If you know what I mean ...
