Hello Everybody,
I know there are some NZers here. Perhaps more than I know.
The New York gathering has inspired me to put some feelers out on the subject of having a gathering of our own in Auckland.
First of all, we need to see if there is any response from the NZ Wing Chuners, and then we'll take it from there.
Come out from the shadows.
Take care
Gary;)

Hello,
I would like to encourage anyone in Gazza's area or New Zealand to respond and make this happen. It is time that we start putting the past to rest and work together towards unifying our system. Let's work to cross preconceived boundaries or lineage and accept that we are all one family. Just think of the impact if "friendship" gatherings were to take place around the world. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it, provided they are friendly ;)
BTW: I would like to credit Rene Ritchie and Marty Goldberg with the original "Friendship Seminar" idea/concept. I am just riding on their coatails.
Peace,
Dave

Hey buddy!
It may be difficult for me as you know. Unless I come as a Ronin (masterless wing chunner).
BTW: I only have 2 weeks to go until my thesis is finished:D
Can't wait!

Thankyou for your kind words to my wife. To answer your questions:
1. I am from TST lineage
2. I have a craftsman make the wooden dummies for me, and I finish them and make the frames.
3. The NZ hardwood quality is very good. Tawa is quite blonde in appearance but very hard and quite nice in my opinion.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
Thankyou
Gary

Do any of the New Zealanders know of Sifu Joe Moahengi in Auckland?
